Pine Potato Bin – Maple Stain finish – Holds 20 lb. bag of Potatoes

I constructed this bin to be slightly narrower than my other bins so it can fit in smaller spaces, yet it still accommodates a substantial 20 lb. bag of potatoes. This bin is made of pine with a maple stain and finished out with a hand rubbed gloss polyurethane coating for protection.

The engraving on the front only says: “Potatoes” since I use my bin exclusively for potatoes, I thought others might appreciate the option of having a bin designated solely for “Potatoes” instead of including “Onions” as well.

It’s important to mention that Potatoes and Onions should never be stored close together, as the gases released by Onions can cause Potatoes to spoil faster. That’s why all my Potato Bins are specifically designed to hold only one type of product at a time—either Potatoes or Onions, but never both.
