Refund and Returns Policy

FOR ALL REFUND REQUESTS you must first contact us with your request to return your product for refund or exchange.

IF we receive any returned products without first authorizing the return the products will be refused delivery and returned to the senders address unopened.

Our refund and returns policy is 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

The following products are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Items that have been used
  • Spice Products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase from Homestead Treasures

If the product is Rada Cutlery, Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any returns that are made without a valid reason will be refunded minus a 10% restock fee and original shipping.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded at the Regular price posted. If you have purchased an item On Sale you will only be refunded at the original sale price recorded when you made your purchase. Clearance items are sold as a “final sale” and will not be eligible for a refund.

If the item was purchased as a gift by you and shipped to an address other than you, you’ll be responsible to ensure the product is returned to us. Upon return of product a credit will be issued to the original payment method on file. If it is an exchange, we will send the product directly to the original purchase address recorded with homesteadtreasures.com

If you are the recipient of a gift that was purchased and sent directly to you, we will send a refund to the gift giver. For an exchange we will send it directly to the address recorded from the gift giver when the purchase was originally made at homesteadtreasures.com

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Homestead Treasures (Return) 100 Coldspring Street Randolph, NY 14772.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund unless we establish the error was ours.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
